Throughout the summer: Upbeat, informal, participatory services with instrumental accompaniment.

Dor He’atid/Consecration
Celebrate with our children as they mark important milestones in their Jewish Education. The Dor He’atid ceremony is for all children beginning their religious education in kindergarten and the Consecration ceremony marks the beginning of their education at Talmud Torah.

Tiny Treasures
Celebrate with the congregation as we welcome our newest members to the bimah for a Tiny Treasures ceremony. Babies and their parents fill the bimah for blessings, wishes and presents. After the ceremony, all those involved enjoy an animal cracker Kiddush.

Purim Festivities - Extravaganza
Come celebrate Purim in the spirit intended. Participate in a fun-filled full megillah reading complete with shpiel. Then boogie away at our Purim dance and ice cream party following the readings with a DJ and dances for all ages.

Purim Festivities - Carnival
Great food...raffle...silent auction...BINGO...moon walk...games...kiddie raffle... prizes...and more! Don’t miss the ever popular Purim Carnival put together by the USYers and their parents. Come in costume for additional fun!

Sha’ar
Children, K-4th grade, can celebrate Shabbat with a short Shabbat service, games, stories, drama, a Torah portion discussion and much, much more. The program is flexible and accommodates children in both public and Jewish day schools. Reservations are not required and there are no fees. The program meets in the Aleph School classrooms from 9:45 a.m. – noon each Shabbat.

Tots Tefillah
Children ages 2 – 5 are encouraged to come to Beth El with their parents on Shabbat mornings for “Tots Tefillah.” While parents are in the Spiegel Sanctuary, children can celebrate Shabbat in their own special way. This program includes Shabbat songs and games, holiday observances, stories, and some free play time. Reservations are not required and there are no fees. The program meets in the Aleph School classrooms from 9:45 a.m. – noon each Shabbat.
