Scholarships

Beth El is pleased to offer service scholarships to help our youth attend Jewish summer camps or Israel programs. Any youth who participates in Rimonim, or as staff for our TaRBuT, Shorashim or Sha’ar and Babysitting Programs is eligible.

For your convenience, you are now able download forms and return them via e-mail. Please return completed application forms to Raquel Swanson (scholarships@bethelsynagogue.org) or to the Beth El Scholarship Committee, 5224 West 26th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55416. Completed applications are due no later than January 29, 2010. Late applications will not be accepted.

Please complete and return to Raquel Swanson (scholarships@bethelsynagogue.org) or to the Beth El Scholarship Committee, 5224 West 26th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55416. There are two pages to this file.

5. Activity Reference Form #1
You may e-mail this to Mary Baumgarten, Education Director at scholarships@bethelsynagogue.org with a request for her to fill it out. Please save the form with your name and form name (last name, first name Reference Form #1) when you e-mail it to Mary. You may also send or give her a hardcopy form with student’s name completed.

6. Academic Reference Form #2
You may e-mail this to the appropriate person with a request for him/her to fill it out. Please save the form with your name and form name (last name, first name Academic Reference Form #2) when you e-mail it to the reference. Or you may give him/her a hardcopy with an addressed, stamped envelope and have it returned to Beth El Scholarship Committee, 5224 West 26th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55416.

7. Supplementary Aid Application
Only those applying for additional financial assistance above their Service Scholarship need to complete this form. Please complete and return to Raquel Swanson (scholarships@bethelsynagogue.org) or to the Beth El Scholarship Committee, 5224 West 26th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55416.

8. List of Community Financial Aid
Does not need to be returned.

9. Minneapolis Jewish Federation Guidelines for Resident Camping
Does not need to be returned.

10. Alternative Service Options
Does not need to be returned.

11. Verification for Alternate Volunteer Services
