Shorashim: Kindergarten & 1st Grade (Kitah Aleph) Shabbat Morning Religious School Program

We invite your child to be part of a wonderful and engaging experience with Shorashim, Beth El Synagogue’s Kindergarten & 1st Grade Shabbat Morning Religious School Program

Students learn about the Torah portion, holidays and Jewish values. They hear stories, do art projects, learn songs and even create their own Siddur to use in their service. Once a month they also participate in the Apples and Honey Service.

Our head teacher for this program is Amanda Awend – a dynamic, passionate and energetic facilitator who is skilled at knowing what will engage the students. The hours for the program next year will be 9:45 till noon (or when the main service ends.)

Please contact Amanda Awend, Director of Shorashim, 952-873-7318 or email: aawend@bethelsynagogue.org.
